VALERIA GOLINO (Taslima) starred in the Academy Award winning Rain Man and the slapstick comedies Hot Shots! and Hot Shots! Part Deux. She most recently starred in Four Rooms and had a cameo in Leaving Las Vegas. Of Greek and Italian descent, Golino grew up in Italy, making her feature film debut in Lina Wertmuller’s A Joke of Destiny. She has appeared in The Indian Runner, Immortal Beloved, Clean Slate, The Year of the Gun, and Big Top Pee Wee, which was her first American movie, filmed for producer Debra Hill and Paramount Pictures. Among her honors, she has earned the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival. |
