| Production Designer RODGER MAUS, who has worked in motion picture art direction for almost four decades, began his career as a draftsman at Twentieth Century Fox after tour of duty with the Army reserve following the Korean War. An architectural student at Santa Monica City College, the California native apprenticed with several dozen industry veterans at Fox before graduating to art director on the Irwin Allen TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants, and Lost in Space. He designed hundreds of episodes of various TV series, including M*A*S*H, before moving into feature films on Russ Meyers The Seven Minutes. He subsequently hooked up with director Blake Edwards, with whom he designed thirteen productions, including 10 S.O.B., Victor/Victoria (nominated for an Academy Award), The Man Who Loved Women, Micki & Maude, A Fine Mess, Blind Date, Sunset, Skin Deep and Switch. Other film credits include The Buddy System, Herbie Goes Bananas and Spellbinder. His TV miniseries and telefilm credits include ratings winner Scarlett, Guts and Glory: The Rise and Fall of Oliver North, North and South Part III, Queen, O Pioneers!, The Hollywood Detective, Blessed, Out on a Limb and Briscoe County, Jr. |
