| RICHARD JAECKEL, who plays the role of Fox in Starman, got his acting start in storybook fashion. A casting director noticed his All-American good looks and persuaded him to appear in a key role in Guadalcanal Diary. He went on to become a contract player at Fox and appeared in A Wing and a Prayer. Jaeckel’s career is extensive and has kept him working steadily. Some of the films in which Jaeckel has starred are Airplane II, All the Marbles, The Dark, Twilight’s Last Gleaming, Come Back, Little Sheba, The Delta Fox and Sometimes a Great Notion. Jaeckel has appeared on television in several series and television movies, including Reward, Centennial, Born Innocent and The Red Pony. |
