| DAVE DAVIES is one of the founding members of the legendary rock band, The Kinks. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 with over 35 albums to their credit, their first hit, "You Really Got Me," launched his career in 1964. Born in Muswell Hill, London, Davies now resides in Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting and composing for feature film projects. Davies has worked with John on two films, In the Mouth of Madness and Village of the Damned and has composed music for the films of other directors such as Wim Wenders. He still continues to release records and do performance tours with The Kinks and on solo projects. |
