In his first foray into feature films, CARY-HIROYUKI TAGAWA (David Deyo) teamed with John Carpenter in Big Trouble in Little China, before appearing in Bernardo Bertolucci’s Academy award winning historical epic, The Last Emperor. Tagawa was also featured in such films as Edward James Olmos’ controversial portrait of the Mexican mafia, American Me, Phillip Kaufman’s powerful drama, Rising Sun, opposite Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes, and Mirimax Films’ critically acclaimed The Picture Bride, directed by Kayo Hatta. Tagawa also had a major role in New Line’s Mortal Kombat: The Movie, based on the mega popular arcade game. Additional credits include Ivan Reitman’s Twins, The Last Warrior, License to Kill, Showdown at Little Tokyo and Danger Zone.
